
Quincy depicts it has a Family Size of 4.3 which is the third most average family size of all other places in the greater Quincy region. Figure 14 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for Quincy households. Second, it has the second smallest as measured by total percent of people married of all the other places in the local area as measured by percent divorced at 4% of the total. Quincy has the smallest proportion of never married percent at 5% of the total. Quincy Washington Marital Status and Families Charts Figure 12 shows the detailed marriage characteristics broken down by %residents who are married, never married, single, divorced, and widowed. Figure 11 compares the ratio of the amount of men to the amount of women and shows total male population about the same size as the total female population. Figure 10 shows the Quincy Washington Hispanic (including non Hispanic whites) population household ethnicity in the region and Quincy depicts it has a Hispanic or Latino of 81.1% which is the second most Hispanic Population of all the places in the greater Quincy region. (note: Hispanic/Latino is broken out separately in the next diagram and also the group denoted as Native ethnicity includes Native American, and Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander.) Quincy Washington has the largest proportion of Native population at 61.7% of the total and is ranked #1. Also, it has the second smallest in terms of people less than 20 years of age of all the other places in the greater region in order of people between 60 and 69 years old at 5.2% of the total.įigure 9 illustrates the overall diversity breakdown for Quincy population and ethnicity groups in the area.

Third, it has the smallest proportion of people between 40 and 49 years old at 6.1% of the total. Second, it has the smallest proportion of people between 30 and 39 years old at 7.2% of the total. Key findings in this chart includes that Quincy Washington has one of the largest proportions of people less than 20 years of age at 16.5% of the total and is ranked #3. The next demographic analysis ( Figure 8) looks at large generational Quincy population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Quincy Washington depicts a median age of men 6.3% larger as the median age of women. The Quincy Washington population data for median age broken out by gender for both men versus the median age of women is shown in Figure 7. The city with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Soap Lake which shows an age of 43.3 (about twice as large).

Figure 6 provides Quincy demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and Quincy depicts it has a Median Age of 24.0 which is the smallest in order of overall median age of all people of all the other places in the greater region. The city with the highest population density in the area is Rock Island which shows a people per square mile of 2,250 (47.0% larger). The next lower population density is Lakeview CDP about 18.9% smaller with population density of 1,287. Looking at the Quincy population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, Quincy Washington depicts it has 1,531 people per square mile which is the second most people per square mile of all the places in the greater Quincy region.
